Flower technology is something rare. It is both the paradigm of a new product category and it is a substitute for some popular products in existing categories. Successful new products generally have to be one or the other. Successful new industries have to be both.

Well, abstract grandiose ideas are one thing but actual opportunities are another thing entirely. In real life, business is much more about people — much more about shared ideas.

The next year, roughly speaking, is a challenging time for the development of businesses around Flower. There is quite a bit to do to build on the momementum of this release and the patent protections obtained so far. Flower is at a critical moment in its lifecycle as an entrepreneurial project.
